With detailed designs completed, key approvals in place, and a clear scope defined, the project offers certainty of requirements and a well-structured delivery pathway. | Tenderers will have the opportunity to: | • Contribute to a flagship public sector sustainability initiative with long-term environmental and operational benefits | • Showcase technical expertise in solar PV, roofing renewals, and complex site delivery | • Partner with a major public transport asset owner committed to ethical procurement, ESG outcomes, and long-term value | • Deliver works that make a measurable difference to emissions reduction, asset resilience, and public infrastructure performance | Auckland Transport is seeking capable delivery partners who value quality, safety, and sustainability, and who are motivated to help shape the future of resilient, low-carbon transport infrastructure in Tāmaki Makaurau. | The scope includes the turnkey installation of a ~390 kWp rooftop solar PV system, together with roof recoating and replacement of deteriorated skylights, delivered under a single NZS 3910 contract. The roof renewal works will be undertaken to improve safety, extend asset life, and ensure the roof is fit for purpose prior to solar installation. | This project forms part of AT’s wider decarbonisation and sustainability programme and directly supports its target to reduce operational greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2031. By integrating renewable energy infrastructure with proactive asset renewals, the project delivers long‑term operational, safety, and environmental benefits.
